Rules And Regulations
Internments and Monuments
(1) All interments must be approved by Dixon Prairie Cemetery Officers
and Director. Interments will be executed under the direction of
Cemetery Director or Coordinator.
(2) All interments must meet all State Laws and Requirements.
(3) All monument placement and designs must be approved by Dixon
Prairie Cemetery Officers with recommendations by Cemetery Director
and Cemetery Coordinator, Dixon Prairie Cemetery's goal is to
memorialize and honor those resting here. Monuments should be installed
within the year.
(4) All fences, curbs, borders and enclosures around grave sites
strictly prohibited. (This was voted on and passed by Dixon Prairie
Cemetery Association in 1981). Existing structures will remain.
(5) Any permanent object or structure (Benches, swings, statues, etc.),
these must be approved by Dixon Prairie Cemetery Association with
recommendation from Director and Coordinator.
(6) Planting of trees, bushes, flowers must be approved by Dixon
Prairie Cemetery Association with recommendations by Coordinator and
Director.
(7) All actions and/or decisions are voted on at our business meeting
the first Saturday in May by Officers, Trustees and those attending
these meetings. Please attend so your vote and voice will be heard.
